Discouraged after butchering a recital, an anxious 10-year-old girl questions her love for piano after losing her mother's approval, afraid she may never win it back.
Phoebe Yung’s Crescendo was selected as NYU LA’s inaugural recipient of the Get Amped Marketing Award, which provides a creator with funds to market & distribute an existing, completed work.

EVERY OTHER KID, NYU filmmaker: Patrick Godino (dir.)
A musical film about mental health and gun violence, Every Other Kid tells the story of three high school students as they deal with their mental and emotional struggles.
Every Other Kid was selected as part of NYU Tisch’s 2023 First Run Film Festival, where it was awarded first prize King Award for undergraduate film.

An ex-offender struggling with new freedom pursues redemption at all costs when given a job from his neighbor.
Ricky was selected as part of NYU Tisch’s 2023 First Run Film Festival, where it was awarded first prize King Award for graduate film.

AUGUST & EBONY, NYU filmmaker: Pinar Binay (prod.)
Ebony, who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant after a U-Haul marriage, has to referee between her new wife, August and best friend-turned-child’s father, Justin, while finding her footing as a mother-to-be.
August & Ebony was produced by Pinar Binay through the Film Independent Project Involve Fellowship Program.
